Cat6 installation in Nashville
New Cat6 and Cat6A drops for Nashville offices, shops, restaurants and home offices. Run neatly, terminated at both ends, labeled and tested before we leave.
Visits are $99, credited toward your job if you hire us.

What's included
- Pulling cable through ceilings, walls and attics, supported on J-hooks or hook-and-loop straps instead of lying on the ceiling tiles.
- Terminating at a patch panel in the closet and at a jack and wall plate at the desk, or a plug for an access point or camera.
- Matching labels on both ends, so anyone can tell which port feeds which desk.
- Testing every drop. You get the results with the closeout.
- Photos and a short list of each drop and where it lands, sent the same day.
- Cleanup: ceiling tiles back in place, scraps and boxes gone.
Cat6 or Cat6A?
For most offices Cat6 is the right call. It carries gigabit to the desk with room to spare and costs less than Cat6A. Cat6A makes more sense for longer runs to newer Wi-Fi access points, for links between closets, or where you want 10-gig headroom for the next ten years. We'll tell you which one we'd use and why when we walk the space.
How pricing works
Every job starts with a $99 site visit. If you hire us for the work, the full $99 is credited toward the job.
Standard drops are $200 each for runs up to 100 feet, plus $2 a foot past that. A tech walks the space, looks at the closet and the path the cable has to take, and gives you a number before any work starts.
Things that change the price: hard-lid or plaster ceilings, brick or block walls, conduit, work that has to happen outside your business hours, and a closet that needs a new patch panel or rack before the drops can land.
Areas we cover
We work within about 20 miles of downtown Nashville, including East Nashville, Donelson, Hermitage, Old Hickory, Madison, Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet, Antioch, La Vergne, Brentwood, Nolensville and Bellevue. Right on the edge, like Franklin or Smyrna? Call or text and we'll tell you straight.
Questions
How long does a cable drop take?
A few drops in an office with a drop ceiling can usually be done in a morning. Hard ceilings, finished walls and long runs take longer. You get a time estimate with the quote.
Can you add drops to our existing patch panel?
Yes, if there are open ports and the panel is in decent shape. If it's full or the closet is a mess, we'll say so and price the cleanup separately.
Do we need to buy the cable and jacks?
No. We bring the cable, jacks, plates and labels. If your IT team wants specific hardware used, tell us when you book.
Can you work when we're closed?
We work Monday to Thursday 8am to 8pm, Friday 8am to 3pm and Sunday 8am to 8pm. Evenings and Sundays are a good fit for offices that can't have someone on a ladder during the day.
